Women’s Ministries

At Cascade CRC, we believe the Bible teaches that God values men and women equally. We also believe that the Bible celebrates the fact that God made men and women learn, think, and even feel differently. While many of the gender-role stereotypes don't hold true, there is great value in having specific groups like this. Our understanding of what a man or woman is, and how they are to engage in life, is rooted in unchanging Scripture, not in an ever-changing culture (evangelical or secular). Our ministry to women, therefore, is based on what the Bible says God prefers us to pursue, not our own personal preferences or traditions.

WHAT ARE THE GOALS FOR A MINISTRY TO WOMEN AT CASCADE CRC?

We believe in seeing our women grow into all that God has designed them to be. The goals of our ministry will not change regardless of the season. That is because our goals are not formed by felt needs but by biblical truth. We want to help women mature in Christ (See Colossians 1.28-29; 3.6-8).
